OmniRise

PC CHUNGH (BEAM Executive for recruitment) and PCSO HARRIS attended Southampton City Chambers today, along with Hampshire Constabularies Community Engagement Advisor in regards to the launch of OmniRise. This is a new initiative under TUVAA (The United Voice of African Associations), a new youth empowerment initiative that is used to create support for high-potential young people from African and Caribbean backgrounds. This is to guild them, as they rise into education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Speaking with the young youths in regards to their aspirations, confidence in regards to their futures as AI techs, within education, entrepreneurship and apprenticeships was inspiring. The Lord Mayor of Southampton, Cllr James Baillie and Darren Paffey MP also gave speeches at the event.

We then went to AFC Totton to speak with the Alzheimer's group, who meet every 3rd Monday of the month. We spoke to everyone in attendance and made aware that Totton NPT were approachable and friendly. When speaking to the carers, they relayed any problems they had. It was great to see so many people all for a good cause.
